Despite of its’ small size, there are several individual both traditional and multimedia exhibitions at Haltia, all around the year. The design enables man and nature come together peacefully and harmoniously. Haltia features a new era in wood building, actually it was the first public building in Finland built entirely of CLT wood elements. The environment has been taken into account at Haltia’s facilities and activities through outstanding design and the latest ecological solutions. Among other advanced eco features, the building is heated and cooled with energy derived from the Sun and the Earth.
